A new South American trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained has hit the web. Though the trailer is barely over a minute long, it still manages to feature footage not seen in the official trailer released a few months ago.
Tarantino’s film is set to debut in theaters on Christmas Day this year. However, Tarantino will have to rush to meet that date, as the film just wrapped in July. Actor Anthony LaPaglia had to drop out of the film after frequent production delays kept pushing his scenes back and interfering with his schedule for his role in Robert Connolly’s Julian Assange biopic Underground.
LaPaglia described the on-set chaos as “just out of control, over-budget, it was everywhere” to the Australian website News. Regardless of how crazy the production of Django Unchained may have been, post-production seems to be moving along well enough to merit international publicity from The Weinstein Company.
