Facebook unveiled its latest strategy to reach the one person out there who doesn't have a Facebook account: Television advertising. The minute-and-a-half TV spot shows viewers a world where everyone is connected through chairs, doorbells, airplanes, basketball, dance parties, and of course Facebook (get it? Those are universal experiences!). The result is creepily apt considering 99% of the population uses Facebook to stalk exes and spy on friends--yes, viewers, everything is connected and you will never, ever, ever be able to break that connection (because we have 37 mutual friends).
Watch the ad below (for now, online only). Its release coincides with the site exceeding the one billion active user mark.
