"Walk Like A Giant," the first offering from Neil and the Horse's upcoming Psychedelic Pill, was whittled down from sixteen minutes to four in the video, but there's no trimming of the fat when it comes to their next treat. "Ramada Inn" takes that same formula--archival footage of the countryside and families, random psychedelic images, lengthy guitar workouts--and keeps it at its original seventeen minute running time. Young's voice fades in and out, but it's mainly a framework for the band to do their creaky rock and roll thing. Even at the insane length, the video's found footage is surprisingly effective, though no one could've bet their home movies would have wound up soundtracked by ten-minute guitar solos. Watch below.
