The latest hip-hop star to land in British Columbia was legendary Bay Area MC E-40, who spoke on his musical influences, including Too $hort, Ice-T and KRS-One, meeting MC Hammer, his respect for Gangsta Boo (who he believes is "whipping on" a lot of female rappers right now), and Bay Area slang, including the "izzle" term. 40 also cleared the air between him and the late Mac Dre, saying there was nothing but mutual respect in later years.
Mid-way through the interview, the rapper actually felt the need to clarify that he hadn't been prompted beforehand about the topics. Oh no, 40, Nardwuar is that good. Check it out below.
