With Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city arriving last week (and subsequently finding success on the Billboard 200), this month also sees the release of another of rap's most anticipated debut albums: Meek Mill's Dreams & Nightmares. Over the past few weeks we've seen him sit down with Shaheem Reid to discuss each of his album's cuts, but now the MMG rapper takes us further behind his music—and his life—in this new documentary.
In the 25-plus-minute film, Meek revisits growing up in the streets, pursuing rap after being locked up, attracting interest from T.I. early in his career, getting signed by Rick Ross and eventually emerging as the potential rap superstar he is today. You can watch the documentary below and pick up a copy of Dreams & Nightmares over on iTunes.
