Watch: Kanye West's "Runaway" In Bud Light Platinum Super Bowl Ad
Without a doubt, two of the weirder music choices in the stream of Super Bowl advertisements last night came from the folks at Audi and Budweiser. While Echo & The Bunnymen's "The Killing Moon" totally fit into the vampire-themed car commercial, I'm having trouble understanding how/why Kanye West's "Runaway" was used in Bud's new ad campaign.
I mean, plenty of folks probably just heard the piano clinking and huge drums, nodded along, and thought that it was an "epic" way to introduce Bud Light Platinum. But for everyone that dove head-first into My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the use of the "Runaway intro just sounds...well, really fucking weird. You can watch the commercial below. [IFWT]
