Last night while performing his final show of a three-night stand at Revel Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, Kanye West announced to 5,000 of his fans that his girlfriend Kim Kardashian was pregnant with his baby.
In the middle of singing in autotune while performing "Lost in the World," West sporting a monster grin said, "Stop the music and make noise for my baby mama right there."
While there had been rumors that West and Kardashian had a baby on the way, the couple did a good job of keep things secret. According to E!, Kim has been pregnant for the past 12 weeks. With the news out in the public, a number of their friends and families sent out congratulations.
UPDATE: More video has surfaced of West's performance last night and you can see him sing the announcement in autotune. It is awesome.
"Baby I got a plan even if it wasn't planned. God brought us a whole new plan... I don't think y'all quite understand. Do y'all understand what I'm saying? ...Now you're having my baby...It means so much to me... just to raise a family."
Kardashian also confirmed her pregnancy in a blog post today titled "New Year, New Beginnings:"
"It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo"
