Watch: Jay-Z Announces Brooklyn Nets Concerts For 2012

In case you didn't know it already, Jay-Z is a partial owner of the New Jersey Nets. And in 2012, the team will have its name changed to the Brooklyn Nets to coincide with the move from Jersey to a new arena, Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Jigga plans on celebrating the move to his native NYC borough with a series of eight concerts. He will apparently perform at all of the shows, which are also set to include appearances from Beyonce and some other special guests. We're probably going to have to wait a little while to learn more about the concerts, because Barclays Center isn't scheduled to open until Sept. 28, 2012.
