Over the past few months, we have been some pretty intriguing indie folk-cum-hip-hop tunes from the Bullitts. And on two of them — “Close Your Eyes” and “Run & Hide” — the hip-hop element came courtesy of the ever-elusive Jay Electronica, who still hasn’t, you know, released Act II. Anyway, he and Bullitts frontman Jeymes Samuel recently chatted with the folks at U.K. site Soul Coulture. Their discussion includes their thoughts on their collaborations and playing their first show, which was at the Big Chill Festival. Considering we rarely hear from Electronica, this would have been a must-see no matter what.
