You probably missed it in all of those stories about all the crazy shit James Franco does, but apparently dude has teamed up with performance artist Kalup Linzy for a duo called Kalup and Franco, and the group is releasing its debut EP, Turn It Up, on July 12 via Dutty Artz, the label run by Dj/rupture. Seriously, that sentence above seems like a Mad Lib, but it's all for real.
And now the group just released its debut music video, for a song called "Rising" which really only co-stars Franco in an ethereal manner: Dude is just in the background. Is this song that great? No. But is James Franco a national treasure? You're damn right he is. [P4K]
