Last weekend, London's Hackney Marshes and BBC Radio 1 hosted Hackney Weekend 2012--an epic, two-day long festival that saw the likes of Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Florence + The Machine on its Main Stage. And though he's not a new artist by any means, Jack White headlined the music fest's "In New Music We Trust Stage" on Saturday night.
Backed by a full band, the former leader of The White Stripes pleased his audience with some of the tunes that made them all fall in love with him in the first place, including the defunct duo's 2003 single, "Seven Nation Army."
