What is it about talk show hosts and Jack White? It’s already well established that Conan O’Brien is a huge fan of the former White Stripes frontman, and now it seems like Stephen Colbert has fallen under his spell. Last night (June 22) marked the second part of Colbert’s stint in Nashville with White as part of the show’s music week, and it begins by focusing on the host’s aspirations to break into the music scene himself. It also includes a huge list of White’s biggest influences, which Colbert manipulates to include himself, and a deal struck between the pair in which they agree to make a record together. Yep, that means later on today we’re actually going to hear what a White/Colbert musical collaboration will sound like
