Therse are difficult times for Jack White, what with his impending divorce and the recent break-up of the White Stripes. But he still found time to appear on the Colbert Report last night (June 21) as part of the show’s music week—and he even managed to get the host of the show to fly out to Nashville to meet him at his Third Man record store. You can check out the results of that exchange in the clip above, which includes plenty of witty asides (“what’s the most exploitative thing you would ask yourself to do?” inquires Colbert). The best part is the host’s idea for using White’s music in a yogurt commercial, but to say much more would spoil your enjoyment of this meeting of minds.
