While Cole World: The Sideline Story may not be holding up in the mainstream as well as people expected prior to its release (I'm still slamming "Rise and Shine" and "Nobody's Perfect" relentlessly), J.'s managed to work his way into the Grammy's with a Best New Artist nomination alongside Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver, Skrillex and The Band Perry, which, you know, is pretty solid, I'd say.
Falling into the usual pre-Grammy promo run, J. dropped in on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to hopefully boost his name a bit in the eyes of the despotic comittee over at the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. With a little backing from The Roots (always a good thing), he decided to stick to usual by doing his single "Can't Get Enough," minus Trey Songz, though I'm sure we'd all liked to have caught something else instead since, you know, "Can't Get Enough" has been bled to death.
That's pretty much all there is to say without getting in the way of the video, so I'll step back and leave you to check it out below. Show J. some love and pick up Cole World: The Sideline Story if you haven't.
