Watch: J. Cole Discusses 'Cole World: The Sideline Story'
Sept. 27 has the potential to be one of the strongest release dates for hip-hop albums in recent history. Phonte, 9th Wonder, Yelawolf, Big K.R.I.T., and J. Cole have all announced that their albums are set to drop that day. And if they all hold, that means we will also have a pretty strong late summer in terms of rap singles. That will be especially true if J. Cole is able to secure that Jay-Z verse for a potential smash off his proper debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story. Cole hints at the track in the above interview, which also includes talks of how Cole World could become a series of albums. He additionally reveals that he, Danja, No I.D., and Brian Kidd handled the production for the entirety of Cole World. Is it September yet?
