A bunch of loud and/or punk influenced bands made their way to Humboldt Park in Chicago this past weekend for Riot Fest, the seventh iteration of which expanded its punk pedigree to include on-the-fence acts like Elvis Costello and Andrew W.K. This latter artist is, of course, a dream interview given his quotable ruminations, but when you pair him with someone else? And that someone else is Oderus Urungus of GWAR? Oh boy.
Consequence of Sound gave the two a microphone to share and spit their thoughts about Lamb of God, the birth of GWAR, and who would win a battle of the bands (Andrew does concede that point to the out-of-space weirdness that is GWAR). Watch the insanity below.
