The hits from Florence + the Machine’s Ceremonials just keep on coming. The latest track to get the music video treatment is “Spectrum,” which has been given an ostentatious clip directed by David LaChapelle & John Byrne. Florence is decked out in layered red hair while dancers cavort around her, no doubt propelled by the sheer power of her voice. Island clearly decided to flash the cash for the video, but it’s the kind of opulent treatment that Florence’s music deserves. There even appears to be a beam of light shining out of her ass at one point—maybe a cover of the Smiths’ “Hand in Glove” is next on her agenda?
