For many bands, performing corporate events are like a winning lottery ticket. They can demand a higher than usual fee to play and companies that can afford it will gladly pay. At last night’s Oracle Appreciation Event on Treasure Island in San Francisco, employees got to see two of rock’s heavyweights in Pearl Jam and Kings Of Leon.
If that wasn’t enough for attendees, they got to witness Eddie Vedder joining Kings Of Leon on-stage for a version of 2004’s “The Bucket.” Needless to say, that doesn’t happen every day.
