Watch: Dirty Projectors Perform "Gun Has No Trigger" On Fallon

“Gun Has No Trigger” was the first taste of the forthcoming Swing Lo Magellan by Dirty Projectors, and it was their song of choice on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night. If Dave Longstreth looks like he has been locked away in a cabin in the woods for months, well, that’s because he pretty much has—the album was recorded in a remote house in Delaware County, New York. For many fans this will be the first chance to see Dirty Projectors sans Angel Deradoorian, who is on hiatus from the band, although sadly there’s no fill-in guest slot from the Roots on this performance. No matter, because the rainbow harmonies of “Gun Has No Trigger” really fill out the tiny performance space here. Check it out below.
