As you're probably aware, it's been a minute since we've gotten some fresh music from French duo Daft Punk. Their last studio album, Human After All, came out in 2005, and they worked on the Tron: Legacy soundtrack and its subsequent remix album, Tron: Legacy Reconfigured, that dropped last year.
This past Monday, though, attendees of the Saint Laurent fashion show in Paris got to hear some new action from the Daft duo. According to the New York Times, cards on the seats at the show read "Music Junior Kimbrough Edited by Daft Punk"; that's because designer Hedi Slimane asked the group's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter to compile a playlist by the late Mississippi bluesman, which they then edited, looped and made runway ready. You can watch a clip of the show, featuring Kimbrough's "I Gotta Try You Girl," below. [P4K]
