Watch Ceremony Cover The Violent Femmes’ “Kiss Off”

For the latest installment of the AV Club‘s “Undercover” series, California quintet Ceremony took to covering the Violent Femmes’ fantastic “Kiss Off,” off their classic 1983 self-titled LP. Describing the song as a “nerd-anthem,” frontman Ross Farrar fittingly, though charmingly goes on to look kinda geekish as he performs, especially during the counting part. Check it out below, and go here for other editions of the “Undercover” series, including Young the Giant doing “Ignition (Remix)” and Screaming Females doing Sheryl Crow’s “If It Makes You Happy.”

Ceremony’s great fourth album, Zoo, is out now via Matador.
