Like Cults before him, Bradford Cox was commissioned by Columbia Records to record a live cover of a Leonard Cohen song of his choosing. Cox took on "Seems So Long Ago, Nancy," and his performance is below. The whole thing is pretty great, but the awkward intro from Cox is pretty damn endearing. Watch it at Pitchfork to see Cox try to bring his voice somewhere near Cohen's low as hell register.
Cohen's new album, Old Ideas, is out now.
