The world lost two of its most powerful female voices this year in the deaths of Whitney Houston and Etta James. The latter was rightfully honored at the Grammy Awards in a duet performance by Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt. Before they started the subdued performance of "Sunday Kind of Love," Keys noted that they would be doing it in James' style. What that meant is they didn't overdo it. Well, Raitt didn't, though Keys did try to really shout during her portions, which unfortunately sounded kind off at times.
