Today marks the release of Amy Winehouse's first posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures. It's a project that features several alternate takes on older tunes, some lively covers, and even a few stunning previously unreleased tracks. It's also a project that comes an interesting backstory, which is described at relative length in an accompanying mini-documentary on the making-of the album. While watching said video below, you'll hear insights from the Hidden Treasures producers and how each track on the album came together and when it was recorded. You might have to free up about 15 minutes in the near future to watch this, but it's totally worth it.
