The international trailer for A Good Day to Die Hard has hit the web today courtesy of Yahoo. In the trailer, we get a peek at all the outlandish action scenes that would have definitely killed Bruce Willis’ John McClane character if he weren’t in a bankable action movie franchise.
Plus, we get a brief look at Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s return as McClane’s daughter, whose main role in this film seems to be dropping him off at the airport. Also, our first look at Jai Courtney as McClane’s estranged son is shown and a tantalizing look at a woman in a skin-tight leather suit on a motorcycle pops up between explosions.
On top of the trailer release, Entertainment Weekly has debuted the first one-sheet, which changes John McClain’s classic “Yippee ki-yay, motherfucker” catchphrase to the more PG-13-friendly “Yipee ki-yay mother Russia.” Get it? The movie takes place in Russia. Regardless of your opinion on movie PR teams and their love of not-so-clever wordplay, check out the trailer below.
