Battlestar Galactica was one of the first shows in the modern crop of programs the redefined what television could be -- especially on cable. It tackled deep and interesting questions by following a continuing story arc throughout its run, and the changes to its characters were important and permanent. It's no wonder that it's become one of the most beloved science fiction series in history.
Naturally, when its run was over, there was an immediate demand for additional episodes. So far, there's already been a prequel series (Caprica), that took place decades before the events of the show's first season. However, it wasn't enough for fans, and Battlestar Galactica will return as a web series over the course of the next four weeks on Machinima. Check out a clip of it below (via ComingSoon.net) and get ready to see a young William Adama during the Cylon War that took place years before the series proper.
