Warren G is only out there selling pills to make your dong bigger. He's also working on an EP to celebrate the life of his deceased friend Nate Dogg, who passed away last month. According to MTV, the two friends recorded an album's worth of material together that, for whatever reason, never surfaced. Warren has chosen to collect the best tracks from those sessions for placement on an EP that will feature guests such as E-40, DJ Quik, and Game, among others. Warren had the following to say about the project:
“Nate wasn’t just a hook man, he was a songwriter too,” he remembers. “He was just incredible. Back in the day I had seen how he could captivate the crowd when he sang. We’d be in the hood and he’d sing and everybody would just melt. I was like, ‘Nate, let’s go and let’s work, let’s make it happen and be successful.’ And we did that.”
The EP is due out some time this year.
