
In August, the Walkmen announced that they have a bunch of material finished for their new album, a set they're recording with Phil Ek. Today comes a bunch of Walkmen related news: The band plans to release the album sometime next summer, and the sessions with Phil Ek start this month.
But that's not all: The band celebrates its 10th anniversary next year, and they're not going to let it pass without notice. First, they're going to reissue their debut LP, Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me Is Gone, on vinyl, releasing it on wax for the first time ever. They're also going to have a few anniversary shows. So far, there are only dates in Chicago and San Francisco. Expect more to be announced:
