Walkmen imagine You and Me album details

The New York-based Walkmen, one of the better straight indie rock bands of the decade, have released details for their upcoming album You and Me. You and Me, their fourth album (5th if you include their rerecording of Harry Nilsson's Pussy comes out on August 19, contains the following tracks:

Dónde está la Playa

Flamingos (For Colbert)

On the Water

In The New Year

Seven Years of Holidays (For Stretch)

Postcards From Tiny Islands

Red Moon

Canadian Girl

Four Provinces

Long Time Ahead Of Us

The Blue Route

New Country

I Lost You

If Only It Were True

"In The New Year," the first single on the album, is now streaming on Imeem via Pitchfork. You and Me is there first album since 2006's A Hundred Miles Off. If the incredible "In the New Year" is any indication, The Walkmen could be up for album of the year consideration.

Walter Martin was at the Modest Mouse show last night. Saw him walk past me while I was waiting in line for guest list tickets. Said hello (I shot their promo photos a couple of weeks ago) and met his wife, too. Awkward!
