Vordul Mega to release Megagraphitti in August

Hip-hop heads across the world may still pray for that second Cannibal Ox record, but why dwell on the past when Vordul Mega and Vast Aire continue to put out music. On August 19, 2008, Backwoodz Studioz will be releasing the second solo effort from Vordul Mega, entitled Megagraphitti.

Megagraphitti is the follow-up to the underrated Revolution of Yung Havoks, which was released in 2004 on Nature Sounds. In describing the record, Vodul stated, "Megagraphitti is me trying to capture the last six years of my life on record, show where I've been at and where I am trying to go. I put it all out there and just tried to make the record that is true to me and what I've been through."

Producers on Megagraphitti include El-P, Bronze Nazareth, Sid Roams, Bond, Ravage. The album also features guest spots from Vast Aire, Tommy Gunn (Monsta Island Czars), Billy Woods and the Invizzbl Men (Marq Spekt & Karniege).

I think I'm in the opposite boat as you Nat. I liked him on Cold Vein, but was more into Vast. After listening to his solo album I thought I slept on him.
