Volcano Choir Releases Video For "Comrade"

Volcano Choir, the WI-based group featuring Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and the members of Collections of Colonies of Bees, has released the second video from the upcoming album Repave. "Comrade" synthesizes their pop tendencies with the post-rock background of COCO Bees, the electronic elements and the rawer more acoustic elements of their sound. It enters like a pop song, shutters like a jenga tower on a city bus, fades away, and returns as a frenetic explosion.

The video was shot and directed by Dan Huiting, who recorded the band near Vernon's April Base Studios in Fall Creek, WI.

Repave will be released September 3 in North America and September 2 in Europe via Jagjaguwar.
