Vivian Girls' eponymous first album sold out in a matter of days back in April. A limited-run, vinyl-only release, it is now the stuff of collector legend and sells for obscene prices on ebay. But have no fear lovers of sweetness and noise! The album is set to be re-released Oct. 7 (in vinyl and CD form) by In the Red Records (an excellent punk label, the former home of Jay Reatard).
Vivian Girls track list:
01. All The Time 02. Such a Joke 03. Wild Eyes 04. Going Insane 05. Tell The World 06. Where Do You Run To 07. Damaged 08. No 09. Never See Me Again
I saw them open for Tilly and the Wall last week. I just don't get the hype at all.
I get the hype.
Their songs are good.
If you like Tilly and the Wall, I'm not surprised you don't like Vivian Girls.
To each their own!
