Maintaining the lifestyle of a glam rocker is a hard job (a lot more leather goes into those pants, for example), and Vince Neil is not above uniting with American Idol to solidify his financial portfolio. The Motley Crue singer was spotted in the audience on last night's disco episode, and was quoted as saying that a night of Crue songs "might be good for the show." This is probably unlikely given the family friendly nature of the program, but the prospect of buffed and polished pop stars in the making doing vocal runs on "Dr. Feelgood" is somehow very enticing. Even better, though, would be Vince as celebrity mentor: "That was really, really good, but maybe if you just put on a little more eyeliner?" [Contact Music]
