Sure, the folks who criticized Wilco'''s Sky Blue Sky for veering off a little too steeply into easy listening may have had a point. But watch this clip, of the band performing ''"Impossible Germany''" at Austin City Limits, and it'''s clear that the gripe really only holds as a matter of principle '' wherein the term ''"easy listening''" is used, not as an objective classification, but as the insult itself.
