Video: Von Sudenfed - "Fledermaus Can't Get it"
Contrary to popular belief, Von Sudenfed is not a German cold medicine knock off, but rather the recording name given to the unholy union of Mouse on Mars and the Fall's Mark. E. Smith. The debut from this odd couple is entitled Tromatic Reflexxions, and will likely be released in June on Domino Records. It's glitch dancey and shout sing-y (as any bedroom oracle might predict given the talent involved).The video for first single, "Fledermaus Can't Get it," features a gaggle of questionable drag queens lip synching to Mark's barks. A dark club might let some of these five o'clock shadows slip by, but if your "lady" opens her mouth and sounds like Mark E. Smith, consider it fair warning.

I'd been dying to hear this for months and it sounds...exactly like what I expected. I dunno about this one - Mark is totally the leader of the Fall but here he just sounds like he's getting in the way of what should be a Mouse on Mars song. Also, the drag queen with the frosty lips is a bit harsh on the eyes.
