Video – Totimoshi “The Dance of Snakes”

Here’s the just-released video for “The Dance of Snakes,” off the Ladron album by Oakland’s grunge-metal exports Totimoshi. These guys have been hand-picked for opening slots on tour with The Melvins, Mastodon, Fu Manchu and Helmet (in fact Helmet’s Page Hamilton produced Ladron), and this song should tell you why. Bathe in the loose grooves. Bang your head to the Black Sab distorto riffs. Scope the video’s connection between Spanish conquistadores oppressing indigenous Mexicans and the current homeless situation in Mexico. Socially conscious metal? that’s what I’m talkin’ about.
