Though The Books have spliced their music together with found video in a live setting for several years now, only now have they made these delightful accompaniments available to the general public, on the new release Playall: a DVD of Videos, available wherever The Books tour and on their website. This video for "Take Time" is one such example, a kooky assemblage of chattering African women, adult parlor games and tripping Pentecostal ministers. If you've seen The Books on tour, you likely will have seen this already - if not, this will give you an idea of what you're missing.
