Glad to see that Billy Corgan is still smiling despite all the crap he's taken recently due to some silly marketing choices for the new Smashing Pumpkins album Zeitgeist. So in this video for "Tarantula," off that most controversial new release which drops next week, Billy and Jimmy look positively hippified (i.e. they are wearing Hare Krishna clothing and appear to have consumed massive amounts of psychedelics) in front of some swirling green screen action. Also note the numerous unfamiliar faces, each playing instruments or lip-syncing with the song - could this be a clever nod towards the Smashing Pumpkins' no-name "reunion" lineup? If so, touche, Billy Corgan! This almost makes up for your love-child-of-Gollum-and-a-wombat appearance.
