Shy Child is an NYC duo featuring one dude on vocals and keytar and one dude on drums, and if that doesn't stop you then maybe this video for the band's new single "Summer" will. OK, so the video itself isn't too bad, kinda kooky psychedelic/ kaleidoscopic editing plus sunburned visuals, but the song is just an electro-damaged version of Blink-182's last album, the one where they got all emo and weren't even fun anymore. Thankfully it's over about as soon as it begins, but how many times are we gonna sit through another guy who looks just a little to old for this stuff croaking out prefabbed lines about "summer" and "the war is over"? I'm gonna go download a copy of Take off Your Pants and Jacket.
