Even though he released rarities/unreleased music compilation Legendary Classics Vol. 1, it's been some eight years since we've heard a proper album since R.A. The Rugged Man. That all changes sometime this year thanks to the folks at Nature Sounds, who are releasing his new album, Legends Never Die. It serves as the follow-up to 2004's critically lauded Die, Rugged Man, Die, which was one of our favorite records of that year.
Chances are his new album will be one of our favorites of 2012, especially after hearing him speak on it in the video below. He explains at first that it was super-serious considering he was writing it when his father had just passed away. But after listening to the music, he decided he didn't want to do that and returned to being a "dirty, crusty, crazy wild man." Fuck yes.
