We've gotten our first officially sanctioned look at the DFA's new rock group, Prinzhorn Dance School. Verdict: One half cute, one half creepy. I thought there were three people in the band, so I guess the drummer's not an official member. The song itself is as stripped down and oddly affecting as early PDS watchers have come to expect. As for the video, Suzie Horn's button nose and keen dress sense steal the show, but I think the best single moment is when Tobin Prinz eats a banana and is deeply, profoundly disappointed.
The double A-side single, "Up! Up! Up!/ Harmworthy Sports and Leisure Centre" will be released digitally tomorrow, and on DFA vinyl in a week or two.

How'd they get the cat to throw a fake like that in the beginning? Nice. |

Very creepy. Really liked it though.
