OK, so the new New Pornographers' album is their least effort yet, but there are still a couple of great songs on Challengers, including the title track. Matador just posted the new video for "Challengers" on YouTube. What starts out as a seemingly straightforward depiction of nostalgia for an illicit love turns into a surreal, colorful, and slightly gross, representation of the song's moods. Dali would certainly have been proud.
