After hearing the hook on this track we have to admit we were extremely worried. Ripping "Wheels on the Bus" might be appropriate and all, but seriously -- where was the fire of "Lip Gloss" or, um, "On Fire"? We calmed down a bit once the verses kicked in, though. The video is more My Little Pony pink glittery dance routine stuff, but what do you want? She's a teenage girl. At this point Lil' Mama seems destined for stardom with a proper push from her label -- which just happens to be Jive, so it's no guarantee they won't blow it (*cough*Clipse*cough*). But she can spit, her hooks are catchy, and she'll even get the parental/Al Sharpton stamp of approval with age-appropriate lyrics. Seems like a no-brainer. By the way, is it wrong that we celebrated her 18th birthday?
