Hardknock.tv spends a few minutes with the 18th Letter, running through his interpretation of Nas' "hip-hop is dead" statement, as well as the goal of his upcoming record, The Seventh Seal, which is due to drop on 7/7/07 (suck it, Billy Corgan). He's got a few words for NYC hip-hop artists, too. Nothing to start a beef or anything ... just some wise words from the king.

Seeing this is a reminder of one of my only bad memories from SXSW. The security at that venue wouldn't let me in with my video camera even though I had a photo pass because it wasn't an official "SXSW" event, but rather a party by a certain car manufacturer. No Ghostface or Rakim for me. f.0
