This song has been around for a while this year, but its catchy hooks definitely give it staying power, key since indie-pop duo Georgie James is just now getting around to releasing a video for the tune. The plot of the clip has something to do with a duplicate version of the band running into itself, which, contrary to what every sci-fi movie I saw as a little kid told me, does not cause such a rip in the space-time continuum that the universe ends. Keyboardist/vocalist Laura Burhenn is definitely the standout star here. She epitomizes current female hipsterdom in every aspect, from the haircut, to the wardrobe, to the cuteness, to, yes, being a keyboardist in an indie-pop band. A veritable perfect storm of cool.
