Here's another reminder about the forthcoming "The Reminder" by beloved Canadian songstress Leslie Feist. The new video for "1,2,3,4" (already the second to emerge from the yet to be released album, due May 1st) is a festival of bold, American Apparel style solid colors, one take photography, and deceptively complicated choreography.
Now, having an acute allergy to things that can be described as "jazzy," I'd so far resisted the solo work of Ms. Feist, but you'd have to have a hard heart indeed to deny the likability of this song and visual.
It's charming. I'm charmed.

this reminds me of the infinitely better fiona apple/pta "paper bag" video. Also, the song kind of sounds like a weaker fiona song. |

BZA, I thought they exact same thing when I heard it. Then I saw the video and only cofirmed my beliefs. Although Paper Bag is one of my all-time Fiona fav's, it's hard to compare since I like this one also. But paer bag is slightly>>than 1,2,3,4.\I was so pissed they didn't release the video for PB earlier. I don't think it even made it to television. |
