Electrelane's No Shouts, No Calls is gonna be a sleeper knockout for alot of people when it hits shelfs on May 8th. Lovely, intricate melodies, with insistent rhythms, and solid musicianship all around. I wouldn't be surprised if the first single, "To the East," was the group's breakout. Too Pure does their part to make my prediction a reality, shelling out for this video clip. Well, not shelling out too much by the looks of it, but it fits. Visuals layered to match the rich sonics, and lots and lots of longing. Like a hazy daydream of running away from it all...
