This new song from Eef Barzelay, the lead singer of Clem Snide, comes from the soundtrack to the new movie Rocket Science, out on Lakeshore Records. I wouldn't have minded having Eef for a teacher in high school. He seems like a cool guy. And when the school day gets boring, he can always whip out his guitar and rock the bus ride home.

Actually, it's not a new song at all. It's on Clem Snide's first official album. But the movie and soundtrack do look awesome.

That's interesting. I consider myself a big Clem Snide fan but wasn't aware of this song.

Yeah, it was on Your Favorite Music (Sire, 2000) - a really great album. If you're a big Clem Snide fan you should definitely check it out. The title track is awesome, and "Messiah Complex Blues" is gorgeous.

They need to go ahead and get a new album out. I really liked his solo CD last year, but it's past due for a new full-band Clem Snide record.
