Matt Dillon really earns his director's fee here, by expertly coming to Dinosaur Jr. practice facility and turning on a camera. Oh, he may have called Thurston Moore to come down for a cameo, but that might have been the band. Thurston's only in there for a second, with his remarkably not embarrassed teen daughter Coco. Also, I think Lou Barlow cast a spell on J. Mascis after he was kicked out of the band originally that resulted in J aging for the both of them. Barlow's looking pretty good, and J, can uh, play guitar really well.
Of course, the song is quite good. Dinosaur fans from way back who haven't heard the soon to be released Beyond (May 1st) might be shocked at how effortlessly the band's signature sound is recaptured, without sounding like a direct repeat of any old material. I certainly don't mind a band giving the people what they want, as long as the people in question are such tasteful bastards.

I like this song more and more each time I hear it, and I liked it to begin with. But Mascis looks downright gross.
