Video has been released by the Geoduck Student Union of the Dead Prez concert that ended in a mini-riot last week at Evergreen State University. During the performance, a member of the audience was ejected for allegedly smoking pot. Somewhere along the way a fight ensued causing campus police to make one arrest for assault. Word got back to the stage where Dead Prez took a page from NWA, encouraging people to "fuck the police" and urging them to go "take care of the situation." More than 25 people surrounded the female officer's car, confronting her and demanding she let the person go. Thurston County Police arrived around 1:30 a.m. to remove the trapped officer and release the arrested man in hopes of defusing the situation, which looked to calm things down. But when police then couldn't start one of their own cars, the mini riot began. By the end, the officer's car had been flipped upside down and a laptop and radar gun had been stolen from inside. No further arrests were made.
